As a Canadian Artist living in Yucatan I am overwhelmingly inspired by nature. A recent visit to a local Mayan ruin alone at dusk made me envision this magnificent creature. B’alam, known as a guard, or even a priest… the black jaguar will forever be a powerful symbol in Mayan Culture.
